This is the third time I try to start a Blog. The first time I was living Southern France, I was working freelance, looking for a Job and had a lot of free time. Back then I had a lot of time to spare and I found blogging a good way of keep busy my mind writing about my favorites sites on the web. I worked for more than 4 years for a publishing company looking for good quality websites to be included in kind of small thematic directories. It was very nice because I was paid for surfing the web using altavista, yahoo, lycos, google, open directory, etc, to look for good sites about different topics. Therefore in my first blog I was describing my favorites sites, linking them to my daily life experiences. For example if I was trying to book a flight I was blogging about my favorite travel aggregator, or since I was looking for a job I was highlighting the best job portals, etc. When I moved to Ireland and I began to work for a big IT company, I was updating less and less that blog and a certain point I stopped doing it.
Later on there was a contest in the company to create a thematic blog. So I started another one about on my hobbies: PDAs. I wrote about Palm and Pocket PC, blogging over my favorite programs for both Platforms and sometimes I summarised the current events about them. At the beginning I was trying to update it a couple of times a week, but unfortunatelly it suffered the same fate of the previous one: the updates were more a more spontaneous and at the end I abandoned it as well.
You might be thinking now I’m a terrible blogger and it could be true. Maybe I wouldn’t had published anything really since my last post about one utility for pocket pc in march last year, but something terrible happen in my life about 4 months ago: My mother who had being diagnosed ovarian cancer a year earlier passed away … it was really sad and I guess even if everyday it will be less painful, I will always have this wierd half empty sensation …
So I wrote once more in my previous blog to express what I was feeling about my mom and how I was going to miss her. I never wanted to write anything else there so I basically close my postings there.
In this third attempt I will implement some changes: I’ll write about several interesting topics to me, so I won’t be limited to write only about this or this, I’ll write in English, instead of Spanish, so it’s easier from different non-hispanic cultures to read this blog and finally, I’ll update it as much as possible, linking it with my daily life so hopefully it will be easier. 
Well that’s all for now. In fact is more challenging to write in English even if I live in Ireland and I’m spending most of the time Speaking and Writing en English.
